Basic Info
Name:Daisuke Aurora
Bio
A fictional character journal for Daisuke Aurora of Heat Guy J, as played by [info]asmaria at [info]spirits_rp.

Full Name: Daisuke Aurora
Age: 22
Series: Heat Guy J
Profession: Ex-employee of the Department of Secured City (crime prevention)
Lost: Memories of his robot partner, J, and memories of Antonia

History/current plots: Daisuke arrived to the city shortly after the former mafia don, Clair Leonelli. Finding that they were both in the same predicament, he suggested they set aside differences in the interest of finding their way home first. Both agreed, and both struggled with the loss of memories they had apparently given up to the spirits, but did not believe to have done. In the mean time, Daisuke met some interesting people far different from even the Celestials of his world, opening his eyes to the strange things out there.

One of the strange types he met was Mad Hatter, on a (rather unwanted) blind date set up by one Isshin Kurosaki who put it upon himself to help the spirits distribute charms in a unique contest. Those who completed their dates without incident would receive the charm of Ver. Willing to at least try and figure out what this charm was all about even if he wasn't so enthused about going out with the strange fallen angel, both completed their quest and received a charm.

Daisuke came away with a little more than he bargained for, however, discovering over lunch that Mad Hatter had made a bit of a plaything out of Clair and had supplied him with explosives. Warning her not to toy with others' lives and explaining how dangerous Clair was, she put the option of helping Daisuke instead on the table. This did not sit well with him, but he took the gun from her anyway, not about to leave dangerous arms in the hands of an unstable man. The two seemed to come to an understanding in philosophy, neither one agreeing with the other's ways, but at least not on hostile terms.

Unfortunately, the chance to find and confront Clair without upsetting him into doing something rash never presented itself, and Daisuke consequently kept his contact with Mad Hatter low key. The truce became unstable, with a second and third confrontation. Halloween itself became a large factor in this, with both the mass shared nightmares across the city throwing Daisuke and Mad Hatter into the same dreamworld, and the party incident the next day leading Clair to break the truce. Mad Hatter still continued to play both sides as well, although not entirely with the intent of pitting them against each other.

Slowly but surely, Daisuke found himself acting less the man that he used to be. Realizing that he was becoming wrapped in something larger than he could control, he tried to put an end to the troubles between them by confronting Clair over the communicator. Clair called him on it, demanding they settle things then and there. Daisuke complied, if only to prevent it from escalating into something bigger. The battle would have ended in a tie, with both bleeding to death, if not for Mad Hatter's sudden and last minute appearance. She healed both of them, too interested to let her toys die.

This was the last straw for Daisuke, who cut ties with them both. He searched for answers to what sort of person he was, dealing with no longer holding a need for revenge, and why so many memories of Judoh were filled with an empty blank. What saved him was probably finding a kid like his old self in the aura-seeing teen Yuuto, whose own troubles with aliens were a welcome distraction from Daisuke's own. The two formed a brotherly friendship, though eventually the fallen and her angel rival Michael caught up with Daisuke and wrapped him up in their own quarrel.

Wanting nothing to do with it, Daisuke left his apartment and soon sought out Clair to set things straight. The meeting only went so well as Clair pulled a grenade on himself, wild with the idea of ending it all despite the consequences. Without thinking, Daisuke wrestled the grenade from his hands before it ignited and threw them both across the room. A long and tense conversation in the hospital later, the two had something of an understanding, however shaky. The answer to his actions eluded even Daisuke himself, but anything was better than the feeling of hate.

The tenative peace was not to last. Mad Hatter, prompted by her own pride had to prove to Michael that her human toys meant nothing to her. She made it a point to get Daisuke out of the way, appearing in his dream one night before killing him after the nightmare ended. She left the body a bloody mess on Clair's desk the next day.

Fortunately death with the spirits wasn't permanent, and though exhausted by the thought of his less than ideal future, Daisuke returned if only to look after his friend. It cost him a new price to regain his body, but that was better than remaining a spirit forever. Unfortunately keeping an eye on Yuuto hasn't been the easiest, as both of them tend to have a smart mouth. Making the mistake of introducing him to Clair during a request to take shelter from a violent event in one sector, even the new truce has fallen apart.
